Sync service is completely stopped working in Indian Region!

Hallo Dev I’m having some sync issues arising on my browser. Wanna help me out?

Please help, it’s emergency.
All my sync passwords and bookmarks are still not restoring/restored into my device yet

DEVICE: VIVO T2X
COUNTRY: INDIA
OS: ANDROID 14
VERSION OF CURRENT HEROND BROWSER: 2.0.38(latest)

Steps to Reproduce
Download herond, then login with existed herond account, wait for few hours, nothing happens, no sign of bookmarks and passwords to be found still

The reason why I’m raising this request 'cause there’re already some existed data synced with my current herond account. And I’d like to get a option to import all of my existed herond account data if sync will no longer function as indeed…

Hello, can I see the herond data you want to sync? In the screenshot above there is not much data to sync, if it is not too sensitive can I see some parts you want to sync on the old device like bookmarks or history?

Ohh dang, now let’s see. It looks like I don’t have any screenshots of EXISTED Herond synced data with me right now, but I can remember so far that I’ve approximately 70-86 bookmarks, 5-9 passwords, and some recent tabs and lots of history are SYNCED back then with my current herond account cloud server, and now it seems that I can’t import them into my VIVO T2X A14 device due to the message “HTTP error (500)” showing in sync/internal page. Totally screwed up situation I’m in right now. :cry::cry::cry:

So here’s my suggestion:

  1. Log in and sync again from the old device
  2. After the sync from the old device is complete, sync on the new device.

That’s what I’m trying to say here, there’s currently one device I have installed herond browser(VIVO T2X) and logged in into browser with herond account email and password. It’s currently linked with the herond sync server and the server itself looks like having some technical issues (https error 500) causing why I’m not getting my “EXISTED” synced data(BOOKMARKS+PASSWORDS) back to my device(VIVO T2X) from the herond sync server.

We’re currently experiencing a 500 error due to some technical changes we’re making to improve our data sync system. While this might temporarily affect certain future features, it shouldn’t impact the syncing of your current data.

We’re actively working to resolve this issue and introduce a faster, more stable, and user-friendly sync interface. We’ll provide updates as soon as more information is available.

It seems like, my “EXISTED SYNCED DATA” is STILL STUCK on herond cloud server and I still CAN’T BE ABLE to DOWNLOAD them on my device…

We’re seeing this working correctly on our end.

To troubleshoot, please try these steps:

  1. Backup your wallet information.
  2. Uninstall Herond from your phone.
  3. Enable sync on your PC.
  4. Reinstall Herond and log in.
  5. Sync your device.

  2. Opened Herond browser again on VIVO T2X.
  3. Logged in with my current herond account and typed herond://sync-internals on address bar and accessed it.
  4. Waited for 1 hr.
  5. SAME THING! DEJA VU!
  6. NO SIGNS OF “EXISTED” BOOKMARKS AND PASSWORDS ARE FOUND STILL. IN ADDITION TO THAT, I ALSO PUT 3 NEW BOOKMARKS YESTERDAY, LOOKS LIKE THEY’VE GONE TOO! DISAPPEARED IN THIN AIR, LIKE MAGIC!

I GUESS THIS BROWSER NEEDS AN UPDATED VERSION SINCE THE SYNC SERVICE IS STILL FACING THE “SAME” PROBLEM AND EVEN IF YOU SAID IT “GOT FIXED” FROM YOUR SIDE, ON MY SIDE, I’M STILL FACING THE SAME ISSUES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. WHILE EDGE, OPERA, VIVALDI & EVEN CÔC CÔC SYNC SERVICES ARE JUST DOING FINE, IT’S REALLY STRANGE TO SEE THAT, ONLY YOUR BROWSER STILL HAS THIS ISSUES REMAINS SAME AS BEFORE, (ALL OF MY IMPORTANT BOOKMARKS AND PASSWORDS ARE BEING SYNCED ON HEROND CLOUD SERVER VIA HEROND BROWSER SYNC SERVICE!)

I made a new discovery!

Today, my uncle visited my house for meetup. Taking it as another chance to check the troubleshooting, I borrowed his Samsung galaxy m14(A14), freshly installed herond browser there too, logged in with my herond account there, waited for 1 hr, and GUESS what?! Same thing happened AGAIN.
