Currently, Herond browser’s VPN is conflicting with some VPN extensions.
The VPN extension issues will be fixed in the next patch, coming in the next few days.
If you’re on Windows, follow these steps:

Navigate to this directory:
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\HerondLabs\Herond-Browser\User Data<effected profile>\Extensions
with is your actual Windows username and with the name of the profile affected by the conflict. -
Delete the folder that matches the ID of the VPN extension you’ve installed.
For example: The Hola extension (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hola-vpn-your-website-unb/gkojfkhlekighikafcpjkiklfbnlmeio) has the ID “gkojfkhlekighikafcpjkiklfbnlmeio”.
